1. Fainting = Death. No exceptions. I'll be permaboxing deaths.

2. Catch only the first Pokemon you encounter in each new area.
a. There is no area splitting. You get one encounter for Mt. Coronet, one encounter for Wayward Cave, etc.
b. Dupes Clause: you may ignore all first encounters already marked as caught in your Pokedex.
